Adult T-shirt One Hundred Years of Suffrage

Prudence Guydonia Simpson Dresser was a noted teacher in Gallatin (and Nashville). When the 19th Amendment was ratified in 1920, she was president of the local women’s sufferage movement and vice president for middle Tennessee in the state association. Because of this, she was the first woman to register to vote in Sumner County. This shirt honors the 100 years since this noteworth day in Sumner history.
