Is your middle schooler ready for an adventure of historic proportions?

For the first time ever, multiple historic sites across Gallatin are coming together to host up to 14 students for three unforgettable days this summer.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 10, 11 and 12, students will get to visit:

  • Bledsoe’s Fort (archaeology dig, tanning, natural tie dye, tomahawk throwing with a longhunter, and more)

  • Sumner County Museum, Trousdale Place, Gallatin City Cemetery, Gallatin Public Library (scavenger hunts, headstone cleaning, family mapping, soap making, embroidery lesson, and more)

  • Historic Rose Mont (metal detecting, horse lesson, painting in the garden, toy making, and more)

Students who are registered are signing up to attend all three days. Very limited space available, so sign up early for the fun!

Families will be responsible for providing a sack lunch and transportation to/from each site each day.

The team is seeking sponsors to help with snacks and activities. If you’re interested, please message jessica@sumnercountymuseum.org. Thank you for your generosity!
