Johnny Maddox of Gallatin, Tenn., was one of the first recording artists on Randy Wood's DOT record label. His first single sold over 40,000 records in the first month. He was also the first pianist to sell one million records! He would go on to play in every state in the US except two, Oregon and Hawaii. He is one of the only piano players with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
