The future of the Museum is very exciting. John and June Garrott have presented the Museum their property on East Main Street in Gallatin. This includes their historic home along with furnishings and Mr. Garrott's workshop building where he makes reproductions of antique furniture. This move involved the purchase of the Carriage House adjacent to the Garrott property. The Museum Association is in the process of remolding the interior to be used as an additional location for exhibits and activities.

The historic home is just part of the gift that John and June Garrott have given to the Sumner County Museum. This house was built in the 1830's and is filled with antiques and reproductions of antique furniture made by John Garrott.

This is the Carriage House, also built in the 1800's.
